Just a quick one, is the TK9000 the hardest hitting Victor racket? I currently have a JJS and love the all round playability but want a racket that's all about the smash!

Just purely on racquet potential and keeping to Victor, it might be Superwave 35 but that is not in production anymore. There's another Thruster which is 5/5 stiffness and 4/5 bp and comes only in 3U. Just based on specs alone, it may hit harder than the TK9000.

Thanks for the info. I just didn't know if the MX80 wasn't as head heavy? Luckily a shop has opened recently not too far away and I might be able to try some.....but demo strings :( Which thruster has that spec teoky?

If you really want hardest hitting that you can still find now then it would be the Artery Tec Ti 99. Box frame. Extra stiff 7.5mm shaft. Head heavy. It's the beast a lot of people don't know about before the SW35 came out.

    It is the Legend 2.

It isn't widely available as it is meant for China market.

I agree with those saying the Super Waves 35. TK8000 is pretty hard hitting if you can get used to the flex. MX90 hits pretty hard too imo

The Legend ZJH is indeed a monster. IME with a 3u, its shaft is super stiff. Combined with a high bp, its not an easy racket to utilise. To me, TK-9ooo is easier to play with.

Please bear in mind the difference between potential and realised smash power! Just because you discover the most head heavy, stiffest racket in the world, ever, it doesn't mean that it will have the best smash for you!

I am aware that rackets such as the MX80 are notoriously difficult to extract power from but in general I was just referring to the accessibility to power and if anyone has compared the two?

Ha! I must have missed the marketing regarding the TK8000...It is a decent racket in other areas, but I wouldn't call it a power racket.

Do you think there is a big difference between the MX80 and the SW35? I used to have both and felt they were pretty close. On certain days I felt the MX80 hits harder and other days the SW35. I broke the MX80 about a year ago and miss that racket big time.

Occasionally, I am tempted to pick one up again, but I kept buying other rackets that aren't as good (TK9000, TK8000). I just bought the TK6000 and having it strung up right now so hopefully it meets all the hype when I get a chance to play with it.

if you didn't like tk9k you wont like tk6k if you're after very stiff rackets.
