Yes, probably a pair of good shoes for badminton back in the old days. Converse Jack Purcell is no longer being marketed as a badminton shoes. Just like wooden rackets, i can't imagine myself using that in the modern games.

well ..im not a professional player to be frank. but the rubber sole can still do the job on a slippery surface. If you are looking for a more proper shoes , i recommend Adidas QF7. I own one , and I feel like Lin Dan when playing (haha!) ..but if you just want to wear a pair of shoes that can reminisce your old-skool days and at the same time can still give a proper grip , for me Jack Purcell is the answer.

I own a pair of converse Jack Purcell. And I actually worn it on court when I was back from a dinner and I went to the badminton hall after attending a wedding dinner. Well, it was hell heavy and I even got myself blisters! Nah, the purcells are just not for me compared to my striking mizuno shoes haha

They look awesome.... as regular sneakers! So I wouldn't mind getting myself a pair of these. It's incredible to see a major brand incorporating a badminton name! As a matter of fact; one of my browser tabs is now open and I'm looking for online retailers

Awesome !!! I got mine at amazon. Just because I found that it's cheaper than the other online retailers. Anyway so many other colors that you can choose from...but I still go for white ! It gave that classic and vintage look to me :)

here is the quick link to the shoes http://amzn.to/1xNqeaX
