    Hello everyone,

I want to buy new badminton shoes and as the title suggests, i am hesitating between these 3 models.
Which one is the most resistant ? My issues with yonex shoes is that there's always the same hole at the same spot on my non-racket leg shoe.
Also which one do you think is the best and why ? :)

I have always been using SHB86 but want to change on another model since my pair is dead again on the same spot :(

    Thank you for your advices

the li ning metal X has a tuff tip material where it's most vulnerable and specifically where you're talking about
In recent history Yonex hasn't been making the most durable shoes, seen a large amount of shoes breaking apart at the pinky toe area.

Li ning's making some very durable shoes atm, highly recommend them for the superior durability

Thank you for your answer !

But aren't the shb01 protected at the same place too ?
But i read over badmintoncentral that SHB01 were good shoes but had poor quality..
I'll wait for some more answers to confirm your point but i'll probably get the li-ning s then :)

For durable shoes forget yonex. Yonex shoes are a brashness in terms of durability but in terms of performance (combination of stability and cushion) they are one of the best.

If you want a good and durable shoes take Asics Gel Beyond 4 or Gel Blade 4. Asics Gel Beyond 4 is also played by badminton pro players like HKV.

I had only once a li ning shoe (not the metal X) it was durable and the most stable shoe I ever played but the cushion was not as good as from the yonex and asics shoes.

If you can pick Asics; go for it! Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Li-ning over Yonex

Hi its me. If you care about the durability. Dont go for yonex. They also say that yonex shoes would sprain your ankle. The most popular shoea are mizuno and ascics. Me myself I use mizuno wave fang RX. One of the best I must say. Yonex shoes are one of the best but it lasts for only a few months. Victor shoes are also greatly favoured.
    Cushioning Go for ascics
    Performance Go for Mizuno
These are the two most favourited brands. Victor too but never tried their shoes.

I was using Mizuno Wave fang, Very comfy shoe, but somehow after 2 hours of game, i get hard skin (callus) at my big toe.
Then i ought LIN DAN special edition shoe (SHB-SC6LDEX). One of the best shoe i have had so far.
Just for the record, my previous shoes : Victor SH820, Mizuno Wave RX, Asic Gel blast,

If OP's feet are anything like mine, those shoes would be the totally wrong shape. I tried the SC6, and the raised arch section actually made my feet bleed. If OP liked the Metal X, they likely want a bit of flatter shoe.

Mizuno is not available here in France. Same goes for yonex SC6 :(
    I will post a photo in 7h~ Charlie !
(What i care for the most is durability) The thing is i'm not very flexible so i tend to drag my foot a lot... and it ruins the shoe.

But i will buy a new pair by tonight haha.
    I'll try them in store.

I bought the shb f1 neo ltd, they didn't have the shb01 anymore and the adidas quickforce didn't have quite the right size for my feet actually.. hope it won't die too soon haha

    NemChua,
I think you should better stick a piece of thin, soft leather onto the weak spot for the next "victim" ;)
