Hi, I personally own 4 types of Yonex Carbonex 20 Rackets, they are:
    Cab 20 (2UG5, BG65, 20x22)
    Cab 20 Long (2UG4, BG80, 19x21)
    Cab 20 Muscle (3UG5, BG66, 20x22)
    Cab 20 Power (3UG5, BG66, 20x22)

Each racket has it's own characteristics, and no one is 100% better. :)

Cab 20 is the benchmark racket, which is basically people's all time favorite
It gives the feelings of shuttles to the player, and it's very responsive. Usually used for all occasions.

Cab 20 Long is a singles racket, which is powerful but hard-to-control and hard to used to. One of the most interesting part of this racket is the stiffness. I would rate the stiffness of this racket as the same as a Ti10, or even more stiff than Ti-10. I am still not very used to this racket, but sometimes, I was able to generate crazy smashes on this. So you can imagine....

Cab 20 Muscle is similar to Cab 20 in certain ways. It is very powerful and stable. The major difference is the frame tech; It has the Muscle Power frame, and it can take on higher tensions in strings. The cost of this racket is low when comparing to the new MP or AT series rackets, but I think the performance of this racket is very worth buying. Also, Cab20MS is a very durable racket. My friend has many major clashes on his, but so far the racket is still rocking. :)

Cab 20 Power, or Cab 22, is the racket that I like and suits me the most:D
It is very agile and the feelings of swinging it is very comfortable. It's color is the crazy deep blue :p, and it's good looking when you add colorful strings and grips to it. The downside of this racket is that, some people don't like the stiffness of it (very stiff), and thus, this racket is not for everyone. Also, the production of it has stopped years ago, so, it would be uneasy to find a new one nowadays.

I have been thinking about ordering the rest of the Cab 20 Series rackets:
    Cab 20Ti Power, Cab20Special, Cab20Tour, and Cab20Special,
However, I am short on the money :p....so I guess that I will have to wait for awhile to complete my Cab20 series collection.

People, Post your Cab 20 series rackets here !! :) (and your reviews about them)

Make sure your racket is a Cab 20 something, no other Cab number is allowed here! :p:p

save your money bluejeff and stick with the proven classic.
the remaining 4 cab u have listed at the bottom are imo not as desirable as the 4 kinds u got now.

A bit funny, since you first listed the Cab 20 Muscle. Then you listed the Cab 20 Power. If you read it right, it says "muscle power". A sublimination message perhaps? :D

Hi guys, lately I spotted a Cab20 Long in a shop.

Its looks really old, covered with dust and unstrung.

The cone has a silver sticker on it (just like Bluejeff's pic) but no serial no.!

I'm tempted to buy it but i wonder if its original, does anyone's Cab20 long has a serial no.?

Oh yeah, and its damn heavy too, I picked it up and it feels even more heavy then my 2u Ti-10 even when unstrung.

I think all the real racquets have a serial #, if no serial # then it should be a fake.

BlueJeff, is the Cab20 sp the same as the original. I've been trying to get my hands on the original for a long time now. I asked around and the price for the original seem to be near $300 CDN!!

I forgot to mention that theres no serial no. on the shaft also.
But could the serial no. be hidden behind the sticker?

In before, there is only one set of serial number stamped on the cone. And some models' serial number is covered by the sticker and only let the grip size exist. So you can find 3, 4 or 5 beside the sticker. If yes, it should be a real one.

Some people refer to the original one as the old logo one, the one I have is the new logo one, but personally, I don't know the difference between them since I never own the old one.

Anyway, the one I have is really good, and so, I don't care if there is any difference, and since It says Cab20 anyway, I will treat it as a original Cab20 then. :)

(I think the remake pretty much copies the most of the original one.......so I don't worry about on this issue)

You don't need to do that, because Cab20 Long should have the new format of serial numbers. One of the reasons you can not see the serials is probably that, The top cone of Cab20L is silver color, and the serial is white color, so when you look at it, you have to look very closely to find the serials there.

Or you can use your fingers to "feel" it :)

Hehe, i managed to convince de shopkeeper to let me peel off de stickers and i promised i would buy it if de serial's there.

So i peeled it off n de old school serial i see, oh yeah!
Its like 5 or 6 digits followed by a big number (the grip size).

But de condition of de racket is so old even the rubber grip is disintergrating and mouldy, I managed to convince the shopkeeper to discount it till US$70

My first Carb20 racket! (my others are all Iso frames). Cant wait to try it man! Super heavy and stiff racket with super heavy head.

wow, I thought Cab20L was introduced around 98~99, and Yonex should have the new serial out at that time......but I guess I am wrong..... anyway, it's a good racket! :)
US$70 for a brand new racket is a great deal! Good work!

If my rememberance is correct, there should be a PBSI logo on the other side of the cone.

Yup, its there, together with the old school 2U-G4 sticker that does not indicate the stringing tension.

I'm gonna string it in black to make it look evil and powerful, hoho.
