Nice colours. But personally still not convinced about the e tune technology.
Also been noticing Yonex doing a lot of pink and purple colour schemes recently.

I really hope that yonex will maintain the original specs and can be tuned by using the grommet sets. I love red btw. Old VT80 really good racket until i met the beast VTZF2.

I can't be the only one not buying into this "fancy grommet" nonsense?

To be honest, I'm fallen in love with this color. Lol.

But does the grommets mean a head lighter 80 and when added the grommets it become the original or is it a normal 80 that can have added weights to make it even head heavier?

You guys, it's so much easier to just add lead tape like Victor Powerizer. Don't have to restring everytime you want to change weights. ;)

Me. Without the groomets it's just a regular Voltric 70 / 80 racket.

Btw what grommets do those rackets have applied in the picture?

Seems like bottom two......but can't be so sure.

Those are TBH's rackets so I guess he's going to use those grommets on the racket?

I wonder what the BP would be with all grommets applied.......

    *looks at my skinny arm*
    *looks at VT80 Etune*
*looks back at my skinny arm*
    *cries*

I don't think many people would be able to use vt80 etune with all grommets at full performance...

Nice colours! But... a head-heavier voltric 80 wouldn't be too far from a voltric z force, no?

When would yonex release their hidden VT90?? It really terrible with all these repainted rackets (vt70, vt80), add few cents of made-in-china grommets, add the word "etune", and there you got tricked for your money....again. i bet their vt70 and vt80 stocks are sleeping on the storage house.

Better wait for totally new racket as such VT90.

Except Z-Force is much more stiffer than VT80. And the VT80 is already stiff enough.

You know at first I was really excited to see the picture, thinking it was the VT90. Then after someone pointed out it was an E-Tune VT80, my excitement dropped like a stone on water.... :(

"Hey, customers - remember the Voltric 80?"
"What do you mean "remember"? You can still buy it..."
"Well, now it's red, and has (cost-option) grommets! And costs more!"

Oh, if only Yonex were that honest...
