I don't think it is very nice to be an impostor. If Zhang Ning is your idol, we can understand, but please don't deceive and confuse BFers here by using her name. Many of us admire her and would not like her name to be used fof the wrong reasons. Please be yourself.
Heh! Loh, it's quite possible that she's an impostor. But it's also possible for a few out of millions of ethnic Chinese to share the same name as the player herself. I doubt anybody else knowledgeable of the pro circuit would mistake a UK-based Zhang Ning for the renown player herself. Whoever you are, welcome to BF.com.

Yah it is So, why don't you give us a proper introduction about yourself. Such as where you play, how often do you play, how did you started badminton, ect.
Looking at a fellow bfer's pix is not about wether she is beautiful or not, is just so we could put a face to your name.
Of course I welcome 'her' and all badminton fans to our BF Forum. Whilst I agree that 'she' may have the same name as the great player, with my post, I was hoping she will defend her name as being authentic! It is a good discipline not to assume somebody's name and be true to oneself as any remarks or statements made will be made with resposibility. It may seem to be a joke now, but it could turn out to be otherwise later. I personally admire Zhang Ning for her dedication and achievements and I do not wish our namesake poster to make a mess of her name if avoidable. Now if the name is changed to Zhang Ning Fan, or Zhang Ning Namesake for example, this would make a great difference and whatever our poster say will not impinge on the character and staute of the real person. Remember our postings here are open to and read by many in the internet world. Imagine if we can use names of important people as ourselves and make all sorts of statements, we will be the outcome?
