    Tough question.
Candra doesn't quite look the same as a year ago.
Halim has the least number of big titles.
It seems both pairs are pretty equal. When Rexy went to England, he was quoted as saying Tony/Halim beating all other pairs in Indonesia.

  3. as u see the match records, they r all very very close especially the simulation. 3 sets n all scores r above 10. against other countries, i think both of these pairs should win n can win. even sudirman cup, i think they should juz take turns to play 1 match after the other so they can rest.

That would be a logical decision. It would be very tiring to keep playing matches for the Sudirman cup and then play again in the World Champs.

Forgive me if i'm wrong but i believe Candra/Sigit were the only pair in the Asia Cup that kept a clean sheet.

Anyhow, i find both these pairs very good and outstanding in their games. Like the guy at the badminton shop said, take any 2 Indonesian doubles players and pair them up, you get a pair of champions.....

  6. yep byro i checked the results n u r rite. only candra/sigit won 5 out of 5 matches played.

Agreed. Maybe it's post-marriage syndrome... y'know, they say that when you get married, you put on 3 rings: engagement ring, wedding ring and suffeRING...

I'm not the least bit suprised, it takes alot to beat the '97 champs. Even that match they played against Zhang Wei/Zhang Jun. They lost the first set 4-15 and came back to win 15-6 and 17-15
