Dr Alison Cooke's PhD Thesis on Shuttlecock Aerodynamics & Mechanics
Does anyone know where I can access the full version of the Cooke thesis on the shuttlecock? The link that was indicated is no longer functioning.
Has anyone successfully developed the carbon fiber bird that they mention in the article?

Same here, has anyone got this thesis. I mean the entire one, including the images?
I've been looking for something like this for ages. I'm planning to use the same subject for my concluding script at my Grammar School. This could provide some pre-reading to get an in-depth view on the subject.
Thanks in advance.

Great find!
That article is pretty much all about shuttlecocks. I wonder if there is any published articles about rackets. If there is, any link is greatly appreciated.

With more money at stake, the world of tennis has had more research going on into its sporting affairs than with badminton.
However, much of the racquet technology employed in these sports is essentially the same.
Take a look at these articles for starters:
Article 1
Article 2
Article 3
For general information, the best source (not surprisingly) is still our forum.
Use the advanced search function... and you'll be surprised by the vast amount of useful information that shows up.
Finally, do go through this very useful piece
