Thanks for the review and unboxing video. I believe in your video you mentioned that your parents brought it over from Japan to the USA not shipped from Japan directly correct?

I found it interesting that the fixed clamps could not be transferable from the 5 to the 8. How about the reverse? Do the 8s work on the 5?

In another thread yan.v asked if the price was more palatable compared to ordering directly from Yonex. I was curious about that too. You can PM if you wish to not answer publicly in the thread. Part of the reason is that our Canadian dollar took quite a hit (not as fast as the Russian ruble) relative to the US dollar.

Once again thanks for the video. I couldn't help but wipe the drool after seeing both videos.

Me and a friend ordered direct from Toyozouki and he dealt with the paperwork. Together the machines were about $6400 USD and shipping from Japan to Chicago, to Newark CA was about $1200. The yonex branded machine is about $8500plus shipping.

As for clamps because the 8 has a bigger barrel I don't think it would be wise to try to transfer.

Hey, Kakinami, could you tell me who I could order the machine from, I am interested in buying the new Protech 8-Baminton machine from Toyozouki. I have emailed them at info@toyoz.co.jp, they don't seem like to sell one with Toyo branded machine.

Unless you find used, you have to buy a Yonex Toyozouki machine now. Yonex bought Toyozouki so they won't brand their own machines anymore.
