I am getting Ag65 micro pro from Carlton in a week and going to test and let all know hot it is . I have heard that it has excellent repulsion, tension holding and durability. Have any body tested or used it ??
Initial report . Excellent repulsion. Best frequency retention ever seen . it was pinging 1300 fresh with 28 lbs . After 10 days of no play it only went to 1263 and after one session 1243. I don't think any string can match such frequency retention .
So final review after a month of usage . The string has a very springy i.e lively feeling which is common for thin strings and is a lot durable than other .65mm string due to its smooth texture . Repulsion- Repulsion is excellent and shuttle really feels like bouncing from the stringbed . It is in this aspect similar to Zymax 65 but little less than BG80 power. Frequency retention - It beats down all other hands down with only 80hz through the month . Control - Control was way better than BG66 and similar to VS850 even though its surface was smooth . The only factor is that it is very unforgiving when mistimed or off contact hit , it really give shudders in the hand . A good string and a must try.
