Okay latest and sad news here. Korean men doubles just lose. Imagine the world championship gold medallist. Of course I really don't know what is happening here. Ko Sung Hyun partnered Choi Sol Kyu. Then both of them lost. OMG! I really cannot believe the result. They lose to an unranked men doubles player from Indonesia named Alfiat/ Yohanes. What has happened? Plus Shin Baek Choel is missing too. He has been dropped from tournaments this year? Why? What has happened? I didn't get to watch the match live so can anybody update me about what happened in the match? So sad Korea just lost. I thought they will win but they didn't even pass the first round of the match. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::confused::confused::confused:

I totally agree with Pajrul. Nozomi just won the match. Can't help but saying that Japanese badminton has improved a lot since the arrival of Park Joo Bong. So funny here. A Korean coaching the Japanese team to win. Well, last year Japan also won their first Thomas Cup. I always wonder when Park Joo Bong will be willing to come back and coach the Korean team. Please Park Joo Bong come back. We need you.

Wow biggest upset ever. Tan Aik Quan / Lai Pei Jing just won the first set over Sudkhet prapakamol / Saralee Thoungthongkam. Wow the score is so close 25-23. Wow. I just cannot believe my eyes. I am now watching the score live via the BWF website. I will keep everyone here updated with the latest results. Wow I think Malaysian mix doubles is all out to create some upset. I also heard that this woman Lai Pei Jing is very young and she is really the iron lady or the lady of steel. She is said to be fabulous. She can play well regardless of who is her partner. Good. :) :)

Wow Tan Aik Quan / Lai Pei Jing just won the mix doubles match and with a close score too. 25-23, 21-19. Actually the score in the second set is very exciting. The score is Malaysia 8, Thailand 1. Then the Thais catch up. After that the score is Malaysia 11, Thailand 7. After that the score became Malaysia 15, Thailand 7. However, the Thailand player managed to catch up. Finally the score is 18-15, then 19-17, 20-19 and finally Malaysia won the match 21-19. Wow amazing. I never thought that Malaysia will win. Imagine The Malaysian pair has a very low ranking and Sudkhet / Saralee ranking is no 7 in the world. Wow the biggest upset ever. The iron lady is back. :) :)

I totally agree with you. She is a very energetic player. She shouts when she wins a point and show her fist up. Good. Do you actually know why Ko Sung Hyun / Choi Sol Kyu lost today? How they lost?

You are right to a certain aspect. But what about the Japanese women singles? I heard they are very strong too. There are 7 of them in this tournament. I mean do you think some of them can create some upset? Japanese women singles seem to be in good form this year and last year too. :)

19-yr-old Kim Hyo Min who has shown promise recently continues to surprise and shine, this time knocking out the teenage sensation Akane Yamaguchi who has already made a name for herself in a presumably hard-fought three-set encounter going by the scoreline. KOR WS that's been lacking a capable WS3 so far should have no worries now when it comes to team championships in future, might it not be premature to say this.

Fran Kurniawan/Komala Dewi had a very spectacular match against the French XD pair Labar/Lefel. They saved 8 game points to take the first game, made an amazing comeback from 2-11 and 5-16 down to 19-19, but lost 4 match points of their own. After 19-19 in the decider they finally prevailed to take the match 27-25 25-27 21-19.

I can't remember where but I think PJB commented that there are too many vested interests and people trying to influence/overrule his decisions in KBA, whereas in JPN he is allowed a very free hand.
