Malta Malta, is that the island with lots of very old stone-age temples? What language do u speak in Malta?
http://travel-guides.com/data/mlt/mlt.asp No rivers, and 400000 population?!! I want to know where you get your water from. Mediterranean climates aren't that wet.
Malta is so hot; 40+ degree C. I have a memorable visit to this place last summer. Some pics. enclosed.
That was during the largest heat wave in Europe for decades however, its not normally that hot. It was even hot in UK during that period! Nice pictures.did you play any badminton whilst you were there?
It is so hot that it just suffocates every human there. I would imagine that it is quite impossible to play any kind of sport outdoor or indoor. No, I didn't play any badminton because it was only a 1/2 day stay in Malta. We had a brief tour of the city and a visit to a winery. For this trip, we had also a week stay in UK. The temperature there was also choking us death. We are spoiled by the cool and dry air here. Believe it or nor, in UK, I have 1/2 hour badminton drives and smashes with my niece in a nearby car park in the middle of the night (We were packed with tours in the day, and that was the only free time I can steal).
It's been long since I visited this forum. I apologize for my weekness. My e-mail is norspit@yahoo.co.uk. It's true that in Malta it is very hot but we play Badminton all year round because we are fascinated by the game We wish that everybody make an effort so that Badminton will be viewed on T.V. It is a sad thing that we did not have much coverage of the Olympic Badminton Games. Thanks for those nice pictures of Malta.
Yep, that's Malta. Here we speak Maltese, English and Italian, as well as some French and German. Here in Malta badminton is played every day of the week in different areas of the country.
