Well, the final day is coming and exciting encounters are expected to entertain all badminton diehard fans. It's Asia v Europe in singles category also MD as well, CHN has most representatives in today's final with 1 title has been secured, followed by DEN and one each for three other nations, ESP, IND and INA.

XD, Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei (CHN) v Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA)
    Head-to-head stats : 6-5
Rematch of All England Final in 2013 and 2014, both elite pairs have equal opportunity to win as their close head to head record. Last meeting the world#1 overcame INA best combo in Incheon AG Final, only the more prepared mentally and physically pair who will seal the title. Ahmad/Natsir had better strategy to dispose their archrival Fischer/Pedersen yesterday with more aggressive and solid defense than DEN combination.

WS, Saina Nehwal (IND) v Carolina Marin (ESP)
    H-2-H : 3-0
New history will be created by either Nehwal or Marin today. Saina will become first WS player to lift AE trophy while Marin will try her best to be first player ever who nails AE title for their respective country. The Indian has slight advantage to score victory against her Spaniard rival but high confidenced reigning World Champion will do her magic as she did in Copenhagen last summer. These two players last duel was IND GP Gold final early this year when Nehwal bested in marathon match.

MS, Chen Long (CHN) v Jan O Jorgensen (DEN)
    H-2-H : 6-1
This final clash goes to the scenario when top two seeds facing each other. Third final in a row since 2013 for top-seed Chen Long who is favourite to retain his 2013 title but nothing is impossible for Jorgensen who toppled Chen in INA SSP last year, he's in prime condition after pocketed GER GP Gold and all four straight-sets winning en route to last round. Will Jorgensen bring DEN MS on top honour since Peter Gade successful in 1999?

WD, Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang (CHN) v Bao Yixin/Tang Yuanting (CHN)
    H-2-H : 0-0
It would be huge surprise if the new partnerships of Bao/Tang bagged champion crown. Wang/Yu is on the way to produce hat-trick here, 4th title overall. Tang Yuanting was also the finalist last year who partnered with Ma Jin.

MD, Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan (CHN) v Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (DEN)
    H-2-H : 1-0
The darkhorse fast and furios CHN pair potentially will upset former champion Denmark pair. Their final run was highlighted to eliminate big names, last year winner, Ahsan/Setiawan, this important winning certainly has boosted CHN pair to AE ambition. The vast experienced DEN pair is tough nut to crack as they performed to overturn Endo/Hayakawa in semi where the Japanese pairs led comfortably in early stage.

I have full support for JOJ, hopefully he will stop CL from taking the trophy again, and bring more excitement to the game.

I doubt MS going to an extra set..CL showing off his pedigree..JOJ is highly confident player yet his style of play makes me rethink of this match..let's see hope the best player/pair win

Because of rallies?? Or celebration of JOJ after every point?
I doubt it should be straight set match

Both Chen Long and JOJ are good defenders and attackers.. Slight advantage to CHen who uses his height really well. Let's see who takes the first set. THis will be the key feature i guess.

Rallies. Both have reigned in attacking instincts in their rise to the top of the tree. So you think it will be over 90 mins?:)

Is that all? It going to be 7 hours easy! (with the ceremonies)

It's gonna be around 7 pm - 9 pm here in Asia.

My wife is going to take the children out for dinner, and left me enjoy my selfish moment alone...

    :D:D:D

    Times have changed.

In MS, it used to be WR#1 (LCW) vs WR#2 (LD)
    Now, it's WR#1 (CL) vs WR#2 (JOJ).

In WS, it used to be an all CHN affair.
    Now it's Spain vs India.

    Good for badminton.

    Me too.
My wife is taking the children to dinner and then to the movies.
I opted to stay home alone.
Will take a nap in the next hour to be mentally prepared and ready.

That some line up matches we have here. :D I'd love to see every country get hold of the trophies. But that would be impossible because JOJ vs CL and ZN/FHF vs Boe/Mogensen. So I assume it would be like this:

Liliyana Natsir/Tontowi Ahmad to lift their fourth consecutive trophies. Just to make their head to head equal, lol.

Carolina Marin would break the egg against Saina Nehwal and hold both All England and WC. ;) That would be awesome for her.

CL would beat JOJ, because... that what seed #1 should do when meet seed #2. :D Nah, I was kidding. Because... CL is better than JOJ in every aspects, that's it.

ZN/FHF to beat Moe/Bogensen, they already beat last year champ, so why not everyone? Beside, Zhang Nan already lost in mixed double (see first prediction) ;)

WD double, I'd love to see the young gun replace the old aunties, no offense, I like how the veterans set very high standards in women doubles, but... c'mon... so yeah.

INA 1. SPA 1. CHN 3. Not a bad day for everyone.

But then again, I'm not very good at guessing (or predicting), that's why my PAW ranking never be in good place. *sigh*

ENJOY THE FINALE EVERYONE! MAY WE GET BEST MATCHES THAT THEY COULD PLAY!
