Here is a list of the current things that make badminton enjoyable and keep me coming back for more!

    The never ending competition.

The sound I make when i hit the shuttle.

    The quickness.

The exercise. (Keeps me away from smoking)

The game is so hard to play that I will never be able to master the game.

    to be continue.....

Yes, I love the quickness as well, to better phrase it, the speed of the game. A lot of people think its a slow game where you hit it back and forth, but this game is really quick and gives me a thrill everytime.

To me, the best thing about badminton is meeting people, making new friendships, and travelling interstate for competitions.

    Badminton is fun

My friends and I are just local club players but we enjoy the laugh we have while playing....and it keeps our fitness levels up as we are older than we care to remember ;) joining the clubs is also a good way to make new friends.

It's good to see you got a club Marya!

I was coaching a group of beginner/intermediate adults who of course think they are much better than they actually are with their inability to hit a clear or trying to hit it between their legs etc. and I was looking across the courts and what did I see on the court near the door?

A young boy and his grand-dad were playing and having a laugh, no hi tech fancy gear no Yonex logos to speak of, just bog standard equipment and a nice game and fun!

I still remember it when I have to deal with all the pretentious wannabees! I just take a step back and remember it, it just restored my faith in the game at the time when I was getting sick and tired of it!
