    Yeah, I got the same.

    Great job, Jeff!!!

Btw, for #1, I would take out "most new rackets are long version". I know it's very true, but kinda confuse racket newbies, as they might think a good cab20, cab20ms, etc could be fake too. Maybe should just suggestion them to pay special attention to spec, and compare the "length", etc.

Yeah, I will have to modify that a bit

Really? It works fine for me......let me take a closer look.

By the way, I have signed up for that new web host....but they still have not email me the password yet (it's been 2 hours),.....I will have to wait on that.

I think it should work now at these web links:

    http://free.hostdepartment.com/b/bluejeff/
    or
    http://free.hostdepartment.com/b/bluejeff/index.html

I have made both Chinese and English Links! =)
(So you can choose from either English or Chinese/Mandarin)

    Take a look!

    Good job BlueJeff!

    That's super stuff.
I hope more people will read it so we can all spot the fakes from afar.

In fact, I have seen bad quality of fakes before, and you can spot more points from a bad quality fake (versus a high-quality fake).

The high quality one I wrote only have about 10+ points, for a bad quality one, I think I can write 20+ points on it

Also another good way to spot a real racquet between a fake racquet is to put the shaft of the racquet between ur thumb and ur pointing finger... pretend that you are holding something very micro in between ur finger and thumb... then give the racquet a good spin (using the racquet handle) if it's a real racquet.. the shaft should feel perfectly round and smooth.. (at least i know for higher end racquets).. and if the racquet is a fake, the shaft will feel slightly bumpy.. Keep in mind that this only applies to Yonex Racquets. I don't know about other companies, because i've come across a few authentic brands that were bumpy. :-D

    Good tutorial/tips!

One thing to add is that older Yonex rackets actually use a slightly different logo...
The 2 "Y"'s have a "V" on top as opposed to the rectangle now....

Guess it shouldn't be a problem unless the racket is 17 years old like mine is !

    Cool

I was just wondering why the fake Yonex racquet has the letters CH behind the logo on the cone....

Because fake racquets are most likely from China, and they copied the genuine CH racquets, which has CH in the back.

Hey Jeff - Good work - thank you very much.
But I have one question left. What can i do If its really the case that i have a fake raquet... is there any support from yonex? I'm asking because i just yesterday bought 6 armortecs 800 in Hong Kong for 45,50 Euro per racket. Is that the real price in Hong Kong or will I get only fake rackets? Thanks for an answer.

they are certainly fake. retail for AT800 in HK are around US$140-150.

when it is too good to be true, it is.

and no, Yonex don't give any support for fake rackets. just like Sony wouldn't give any support to Panasonic.

hmmm... ok... but it seems that the rackets are from a licensed seller because he even showed the address of his shop in his Ebay offer... if its really fakes then he is risking to loose his license to sell genuine yonex rackets - isn't he?...i think i wait until they arrive here and then i will check them (in this forum there are lots of pics of AT800 fakes...maybe i've luck and some of them are genuine ... ).
