I find myself hesitant to even try anything new from victor nowadays. It does seem to look good though. Odds are I'll end up wasting money on this thing too Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
@Ch1k0 I feel you. After these sinking frames, which happens to nearly all new rackets, I have lost confidence and trust in Victor, too.
Yeah I have to agree but not because of the "sinking grommet" issue but purely because of the lack of feel of the newer racquets compared to their predecessors. I probably still end up buying one to try given it is the spiritual successor to my favourite racquet but will probably look at stocking up on the BS11R instead.
@R20190 funny, I also think about the BS11R. The new stuff was so mediocre and in terms of quality pretty disappointing. Sad, that a racket with a "facelift" seems to be the savior.
Yeah, it is a shame. But sometimes the best just can't be bettered. I think Victor should continue making some of these classics and continue to allow pros to use them (if they so wish) for years to come. Not saying they shouldn't try to come up with new lines and new innovations but I just think the Bravesword and Meteor lines or at least the classics in those lines such as BS11, BS12, MX80 should be kept going just as Yonex kept the Carbonex series going. It would be great to see pros in 10 years time still playing with a "classic" BS12.
Nice. Looks like they have gone back to the sword frame at the "T" which then merges into an "armortec" style at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions then it's difficult to see what they have done to the top of the frame from the photos. But it looks a little thicker near the top, almost like the Voltrics?
I think this is an illusion. The top of the head is closer to the lens than the T. I don't think it's fatty at the top in this way.
it looks like another compact frame design, frame seems much more square shape like the zspeed could be the picture tho...
