Do you guys remove original grip and put towel grip or just towel grip yonex? I tried putting original + towel grip = too thick for me, I tried towel grip only on wood handle = but the feel became worst. So is there any other option for sweating hand like me but also have good feel and thin grip and maybe towel grip. Because I am thinking of buying gloves to solve my sweating hand problem I sweat a lot is abnormal every grip I bought only last 10 minutes and became too wet.

It's called cushion wrap, directly used on wood, then towel on top of it. This way you can control and adjust the wrap thickness to your grip size and feel preference without affecting the balance too much.

But the cushion wrap would absorb the sweat and soak into the wood handle right? And I believe that's not a good thing. Please explain. Thank you

The solution is still simple. Tape the bare handle with PVC or electrical tape. Very light and thin, yet provides a barrier that is impervious to sweat and moisture seeping through then you use cushion wrap as per normal.

Use grip powder to reduce your sweat and it helps the towel grip to feel less sweaty.

THanks bro, oh and every time I need to change grip the cushion wrap would be torn off by the double sided tape on the towel grip I suppose?

Yes. Admittedly cushion wrap is not the cheapest possible item. But there are not many other alternatives when it comes to permanently building a grip size.

would taping on top of the cushion wrap work? I imagine it would be quite weird..

I have tried. But the problem with that is that the tape over is is not secure to the handle. So when you pull off your grip it will end up stretching your tape and the wrap below ending up ruining everything. It's just simpler to keep redoing the cushion wrap.

Here in NL we have a sort of plastic foil for covering food and keeping it fresh. For my racket I remove factory grip. Wrap handle in the foil to prevent sweat getting into the wood. Then grip it once with RKEP g10, and using some left over to make a bulge at the end, the wrapping it in towel or another G10..

You can just use electrical insulation tape.

If you need to build up the handle a lot, then put a grip on first -- a sticky-backed one is better. Then add a layer of electrical tape.

If you only need to build up the handle a little, just add a few layers of electrical tape on top of the original grip, or on top of the bare wood.

Unlike cushion wrap or grip tapes, the electrical tape is not easily ripped off when you change grips.

Yeah I know that but I dislike layering insulation tape. It adds weight weirdly for me. Cushion wrap is far better without affecting my usual setup.

You can buy the foam style double sided tape to go underneath. It is super light, cushioned, will make your grip that in between width and it is pretty water resistant given the adhesive on both sides. downside is re gripping is a slight pain.

I use cushion wrap I top of the original grip and then I put the towel grip on. I like my grips thick as it gives me a firmer grip resulting in.more power.

This looks promising. I guess you remove the original grip and apply this directly on top of the wood?

Have you tried applying a thin leather/PU overgrip on top of this foam tape? This would be the best option for me as I'm not very thrilled by the towel grip feeling but I guess it would be very hard to repeat the foam pattern and it will become ugly and misformed at the end :)
