We are 7 days away from what at 600-700 million USD is going to be sports's biggest event in history...

    I have a simple question.
Who do you see winning? (or will be supporting)?

My money is on Money winning by UD.

Pacman will need to KO to upset and if Pac gets KOed, it might well be his last fight (given the minimum $160m pay day for the loser will be nearly double Pac's previous earning high). Your take?

Boxing is no longer what it used to be since the emerge of mix martial art fighing. To call it Fight of Whatever is only marketing hype.

I'm hoping Pacman wins via KO. This is a great fight between two styles - Mayweather is known for his legendary defense, Pacman for his offensive power. Ultimately, should be a battle of speed, if Pacman can put his glove on Mayweather face or not, which he could. But given Mayweather's penchant for dancing in the ring, it may go the distance in his favor.

The Pacman-Mayweather fight should be an exciting one. This has generated so much hype that they even sold tickets for the weigh-in!

Well the biggest MMA PPV sold 1.15m back during the Lesnar days.
Mayweather/Pacquiao is projected to sell 4m atleast.
And UFC 100 made only 60 million, a figure made by C-grade cards in the world's richest sport. This fight is worth 600-700m.

The tickets for this bout, (minimum price $15k) sold out in less than 60 seconds

No MMA fight since Lesnar, not even those involving Bones Jones or Rowdy Rousey sell out in 60 minutes nowadays. (despite tickets starting as low as $120, which is less tha 1/100th of what this bout is all about).

If it goes the distance it will be UD for Money.... Pacman's only hope is connecting one powerful jab right in the pretty face and KOing....

BTW when is Pac running for President?

Your prediction is highly probable. Pacman might be a senator next year. Politics in the Philippines is a sham popularity contest, unfortunately.

The ref and the jury are all American and are all vetted by Mayweather Entertainment. Pacman/Arum made absolutely no demands and acquiesced to everything that was asked of in order to make this fight happen.

I would say politics in most populated democracies like PH or even in big American states like CA or TX is a popularity contest and in sparsely populated contests, vested interests do have a huge impact beyond whats stated on the manifesto/campaign trail.

This match just happened so late when both boxers are over the hill. It makes me think of the Holyfield vs Tyson match a few years ago. If Pacquiao can't knock out Mayweather, he will lose for sure because I think the judges will be biased.

Would've been more awesome if the two met years earlier but Mayweather did not want it to happen then. Like what Floyd said, it's about the timing. He could not have chosen a better time. This would probably go the distance as team Pacqiuao said they won't get sucked up by Mayweather's tactics. That a tall order by the way. Mayweather is ahead on the Vegas oddsmakers.

There was no way Money would have met Pac-man between 2009-11 and put his record at a "real" risk.... There is no risk today.... But back then Pac would have had pretty decent chances, some book mekers would even have had Pac-man as the favourite back then (pre Marquez)....

The reason Floyd makes 100m + every time he steps up the ring is because millions buy his bouts hoping to see him lose.

Had Mayweather Pacquiao taken place after Mayweather-Mosley/Pac-man-Clottey as it was "supposed" to and had Mayweather lost; It would have costed Mayweather 350-400m atleast (which he made in the next 4 years)....

Now Money is guaranteed atleast 400 mil in this bout and the rematch.... There is no way the promoters won't give the people a sequel to this BO blockbuster....

There is a pattern to it... Two of Mayweather's 3 career defining fights happened when the opponent was at his weakest (or near weakest)..... DLH and Hatton....
A real challenge for Money today would be GGG at 154.
