I was wondering when people change to backhand grip do you guys rotate the handle left or right? I know it does not make a difference im just curious when you are on a neutral grip do you roll your handle left or right? I tend to always roll it right but i feel like rolling it left is faster.

oh I should have mentioned im right handed. The way I look at it is when a shuttle comes super quick you can just roll your fingers up and put your thumb in the right position but I have like OCD and always use one side for forehand and one side for backhand thats why I always roll it right because then I use both sides of the racket. No judgement on my OCD. haha

Am I the only person who does this? Also I use a towel grip and eventually after use my hand are kind of imprinted on the grip so when I use it the other way its bumpy and doesnt "fit".

Haha... I'm sure you also have 5 exact same shirts in your closet that are hung exactly 1 inch apart perfectly ironed, one for each day... :)

Forehand to backhand - clockwise rotation

    backhand to forehand - anticlockwise

    (for me) :)

The shortest route of course, doesn't matter left or right handed

I have to say I've never thought about which way I rotate the handle, it's just what comes naturally. Just do what feels quickest and natural and concentrate on the game rather than how your fingers behave.

Since my neutral grip is close to a backhand grip I only need to turn the racket like 30° clockwise or 150° counterclockwise. I guess it is obvious which way I rotate. :D

I have ocd as well. I do the exact same thing. I always have the racket face the same way for backhands and forehands. As my racket goes up for a forehand the logo will be facing the correct way from the opponents view
