Good news for Msia:

Chan Chong Ming-Chew Chun Eng trashed Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah in yesterday's SC simulation match 15-9, 15-7.

Malaysia now have a good younger pair to conquer the world.
Indonesia n Korea, better watch out!!!

They might just topple Chandra-Sigit, Tony-Halim n Lee Dong-soo-Yoo Yong-sung in the WC!

It means nothing except winning a match under no pressure.
Won't deny that they are good badminton players but it remains to be seen if they can reproduce the form in a consistent manner in tournaments.

I agree with both May and Cheung, winning a match under no pressure means nothing. And besides, playing Candra/Sigit, Tony/Halim, Lee/Yoo and Flandy/Eng is a whole new match.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying Malaysia has no chance, i'm just saying that its gonna take a lot more to beat these world champs than beating your Malaysian team mates

I agree with the perspective. Just wish they have a more consistant performance and stronger mentality but not over confident.
Wish we have some younger pairs that can shine in the near future.

China never really did have any MD pairs that were THAT strong actually. Only Zhang J/Zhang W are good. The Chen/Yu or Hong pair that i saw at Thomas Cup against Indonesia's Tony/Rexy were pathetic. Tony/Rexy beat them easily
