    Hi,

I am planning to get a Fleet Woven Ti 8. I am really unsure if I should step up my tension to 26 lbs. On my previous racket, I was using 24 lbs. I am an offensive/smashing type player. From reading the forums, it seems that BP 80 strings are good for smashing. I'm just don't know if I should increase my usual tension (24 lbs) to 26lbs. Thanks!

You can do whatever you want. :)

    But consider this:
If you are already changing one variable (the racket), then why not leave the other variables (the string and the tension) the same for now?

That way you'll learn how your new racket compares with your old. You can always change strings and tension later on.

    That's good advice.

Also, if you do want to increase your tension, I would suggest doing it one pound at a time.

I ended up ordering the racket with 25 lbs. Hopefully this racket is good. Thanks for the advice!
