In the Competition range, that's the new Satelite 6.5 range. I own the 6.5 Lite and 6.5 Power. Both rackets fast due to the slim shaft, t-section and slim profile frame. The power is even balance and a perfect all rounder racket, whereas the lite is more nippier as it is head light, overall lighter and suitable for fast defensive play and counter attacking. I like them both very much. I also own 9 other Babolat rackets: Babolat X-Feel Blast Babolat Satellite Gravity 78 Babolat Satellite Gravity 74 Babolat N-Tense Power Babolat N-Tense Blast Babolat N-Tense Lite Babolat I-Pulse Essential Babolat I-Pulse Power Babolat F2G Lite I'm testing them all and will post reviews about them soon. EDIT: Competition also includes the X-Feel range, here is my review from a separate thread: Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day A man can stand anything except a succession of ordinary days.
As you can see I've got many rackets to test, I will no doubt play with the 74 soon, had a knock with it and my it is light! Feels like I'm swinging at mid air...lol. I will post reviews up shortly, right now I have finished testing the XFeel Power and Satelite 6.5 Lite in more detail, so compiling their review. Will do the 74 next for you. I will try and get the I-pulse Essential if I can, it is 2014 model and discontinued for 2016. I will shortly be receiving my rackets: X-Feel Blast II (2016) X-Feel Power II (2016) X-Feel Essential II (2016) X-Feel Lite II (2016) So I will be reviewing these rackets soon. (sorry I've not done many reviews lately, I became a dad for the send time so am busier than ever!) Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day Space isn't remote at all. It's only an hour's drive away if your car could go straight upwards.
The babalot rackets have always intrigued me because of the price range. They just aren't super popular here and I can test them.
Recently got a pair of X-Feel essential (4u borderline 3U at 84gr - stiff - "balanced" at 300 mm strung with BG80 and the original grip). Playing it strung at 12kg with a towel grip. Honestly, I was originally not big on the brand but I had to reconsider after testing that X-Feel essential against an arcsaber 11 tour. I will not do a full review of the racket on here or brag about the brand but it has been a huge upgrade to my retired Duoras 55 (bought in 2017 and strung every 3 months on average from 10 to 12 kgs over the past 6 years! How durable! Both had a growing crack on top since a year after each restring, tension was getting too high) on all aspects of the game and I was much more comfortable with the Babolat than the Arcsaber, which felt quite off to me. Also, I clearly underestimated the benefits of having a higher-end racket until now.
