Overall, NBG99. Mostly because it's the best string when taking into account both durability AND performance, in my experience.

Not really. For certain might NBG99. For control type of player might goes for BG80. as NBG99 too slippy & not really good for control. ;) Cheers.

BG66UM... but only if I string myself as the feel doesn't last too long...

BG66UM the best feel within 3weeks. After 3weeks the string feel not really nice to control & the tension probably drop about 1.5lbs (2knots stringing method even worse). I prefer BG80 here. But same to you only I string myself. :D

Hi so does that mean that 4 knots is better for retaining the tension? I would like to test bg66um even with the tension loss issues, so if 4knots could retain the tension then i'll have to try that. Currently im using bg66 25/27 2knots and its my favorite above bg80 and nbg98 jp.

My fav yonex strings much depending on the stiffness of the racket

    1. If stiffer racket, I will use thinner and medium feeling string like BG66 Force.

    2. If Mid-flex racket, I will use thicker and hard feeling string like BG80, BG80P and BG65Ti.

If I can go for a new job every week: BG66UM
If I can go for a new job every 2 weeks: BG65TI
If I can go for a new job every 3 weeks: BG80 Power
If I can go for a new job every 4 weeks: BG80

Actually I use BG80Power/BG80 as my favorite string and change/break it every 3 weeks on my 2 go-to.

Easy, BG80 is the best all round string from Yonex for me.

    Kindest regards,

BG85 but prefer BG80 power for durability.

BG80. Very good performance in all aspects. Even durability is fully acceptable - at around 25 lbs. the strings would last 2-3 months for me. But since I started stringing myself, they get cut before they get a chance to snap. :D

BG66UM feels soooo nice the first couple of hours but then it somehow disintegrates completely and loses everything from feeling to power.
