    Hi everyone.

Looking for another racquet to add to my bag.

Bit of back story, badminton as a teenager for 5 or 6 years, then moved away from it. Recently some friends have started playing and I've got right back into it.

A couple of sessions in I decided I needed a new racquet. did a little bit of research and ended up buying a Yonex z force II strung to 26 pounds with nanology 95. Fast forward a few weeks and some smash/defense practice I ended up with a sore wrist.

This was enough of an excuse to go out and get an apacs nano 9900 strung to 28 pounds in "apacs lethal 66 off". I really really like this combo, easily play deep clears then go and battle at the net. The only issue with this setup is that smashing isn't anywhere as easy as with the z force II.

which brings me to the point of this post, Can anyone make a suggestion of something that's in the middle of these two racquets. I'm thinking something 4u slightly head heavy and stiff to be strung to about 27 pounds.

    Thanks in advance

    Adam

Lol... JS10 is probably not something I'd suggest here as it's compact frame is not beginner friendly...

    Arc11 is good.

Can try Victor Meteor and Thruster series rackets, especially MX90, MX60, TK8000, TK6000 and TK5000.

    These are user-friendly rackets :D.

I'll just tie a piece of rubber band to the string on the top of the racket.

How much smaller is the JS10 going to be than the Z Force II?

You could check out the NR900, though it's 3U. It's a Nanoray but is even to slightly head-heavy, similar in swing weight to AS11 which has already been suggested. Used by Setiawan, Ahsan, Saina Nehwal, Hirata, Takahashi, etc.
