Anyway.. for the shorts u wore dat nite.. where and how much in JB??? Did u see any other colours??? Artric din sell any.. and Classic only got black/red and orange/black.

Ive also seen new funny yonex rackets in singapore sportslink like muscle power 5, 8, and 9 as well as some new nanotech racket called nc tuff or smth. are they like 'budget' kind of rackets while at the same time upholding the new technology?

yup, those are the even lower end MP series, i believe they are only available in asia as i've seen them in malaysia but not in the uk.

Oh..i never asked the boss abt the price exactly.. but he did mentioned dat the new colour AT700 and NS7700 was S$200+ and above. As for NS5000.. did not talk about dat.. as i myself also did not know abt its existence. So better call to enquire.

OH YAHH!!! forgot to check if there was a 'made in taiwan' there. i do believe they are genuine though. but maybe they are taiwan-made like the mp30 and mp630.....all of a sudden so many funny rackets coming out. but i havent seen the ns5000 yet.

my dad saw those 'made in taiwan' and he was a bit skeptical, even tho its genuine, but the workmanship and quality might be a little lacking then those 'made in japan' ones... hehe... the higher-end rackets like the Armortec 300 and above are Japan-made, while the lower end ones are made in taiwan or (gulp) china... hehe...

so he got the Armortec 300, the cheapest of the japan-made ones here... and im the beneficiary, coz i play often... haha...

Taiwan made Yonex are quite OK. Some even have better paint job compare to the Japan ones.

China only make those steel rackets for yonex.

You choose a racket based on its performance and your desired properties, not the factory location.
