i think artric does give better prices to regulars. perhaps you can ask the regulars (who quote the price) to help you buy or maybe go together.

After losing a Yonex Armortec and a Yonex Nanospeed to an 'on-court maniac bent on vandalism', I went out and bought an Impact NanoForce 8 for just S$60 (free string, stringing and grip... all high quality).

I played with it yesterday... and boy, it's superb.

Anyone wants my MP100?
Sep 2004 make, BG65 at 25lbs, new Pacific Smash Grip. The racquet looks brand new and has been very very sparingly used.

Oldhand, did u get it from the distributor at textile centre? I bought an Impact N-tech from them recently. unstrung weight stated is 84g but feels like a 2u racket.

No, I bought it from someone most Singaporean players know personally.

Mr Ng Han.
He has Impact racquets (this is the fourth one I've bought from him in the last two years), Protech shuttles and other gear. He also plays a mean game of high-level badminton. (I'm sure you know him too.)
The racquet I bought is lighter than my 3U MP100.

Hi - kinda new here. Anyway - I just got back from Bras Basah coz I wanted to buy an AT500. 10n10 out of stock ... Ranking selling it at S$225. I thought this racket is only about S$160 ?

I have never been to Ranking Sports, but for AT500, S$225 must be overpriced. AT700 should be around 200 and AT800 should be around 220 only.

AT500 at World of Sports is selling at S$219 while AT700 is selling at S$249. If you buy from sports shop away from shopping mall, the price should be lower.

NS7000 S$279 and NS9000 S$329 at World of Sports or Sportslink in any major shopping mall. Hope this help.

Getting from shopping malls in town area is ridiculous.

Please don't be lazy and read through the thread again to know the huge price differences. The nearest / cheapest place in town area will be Bras Basah Complex (Ranking, Zeneith, 10&10, Music Book Room).

Prices are way cheaper than World of Sports, SportsLink etc.

Other places include:
Queensway Shopping Centre (Many shops: Gala Sports, Chau Beng, New Link etc)
Classic Sports @ Toa Payoh SAFRA
Artic Sports @ Sembawang Shopping Centre
