Paul Stewart recently put up a good video: http://badminton-coach.co.uk/6981/b...tennis-ball-to-develop-your-badminton-skills/ It's nothing "fancy" or "exciting", but this sort of simple training can be very useful. Don't underestimate it. I particularly like Paul's idea to keep players movement "low" rather than "up and down": get them to move while bouncing a tennis ball. Nice one Paul.
I wonder if the feeding shuttle exercise in the last minutes in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjYKGMTcb3E can be substituted. Sub the shuttle with tennis ball (or any ball that's good enough, even the "bouncy" balls) and catch the balls rather than hit the shuttle. would my reflex and reaction become faster? This is because I think my friends can't be a good feeder if I use the shuttle.
You can certainly try, but I don't think that tennis balls are really a substitute for a multi-feed. Another option is to do more one-shuttle work, if your friends find that easier to feed.
