Someone said that the 5x7 system was being used so that TV stations could have a Commercial Break after just 7 points

ahh .. why not keep the 15x3 system and take a break (on a change of ends) after 7 points.. kinda like tennis..

just make the change of ends occur more

this way.. for tournaments that are Not on TV we can still keep our 15x3.. and the change of ends and break after 7 points is only use on TV Covered events

do u like this idea ?

You know what i think? I think they shouldn't do anything to the game. Its good how it is don't you think? I like the game the way its played now when i both play and watch.

Commercial breaks in between games i think will become annoying so i think its better to leave the rules as they are. But since the IBF want to change it, what can we do?

    Your absolutely right

but.. idiot TV Execs say we gotta change it or they not put it on TV

Badminton needs TV exposure to make the game more popular worldwide

so .. considering that .. do u like my idea ?

yeah it does.. it makes a difference by keeping the game the way it is for those who aren't playing on tv .. and everyone who's pissed off about 5x7
