    Hello everyone!
Since 4 days my right knee is feeling no good :( (I´m right handed). I did running 5 days ago and stretched and my knee felt as usual, the day after when I return home after school I felt a moderate pain in my knee and when I fully extend the knee it makes a click-sound. It has become a little better since then but still difficult to play badminton. What should I do?:crying:

Go see a doctor and get it checked out, looks like you have injured it somewhat.

    Kindest regards,

Ice it lots. Rest it. Take ibuprofen. And see a doctor in a week if it doesn't improve.

    Update:
I did see a physiotherapist 2 months ago and he said it was an overuse injury to my knee. I have been doing physiotherapy + biking + walking for about 2-3 hours in total every day for the last 2 months and my knee has improved. In 1 month from now I can resume playing badminton again, for a start not as much as usual and with caution but I can´t wait until I can play again.

Good to hear that, keep up the physio. Since I posted on this thread, I too injured my knee, torn the PCL. I'm slowing getting better too, played 70 percent intensity badminton the other night and knee held up nicely. I have a semi rigid knee support to protect it from further damage.

    Kindest regards,

Normally you just need rest. That clicking sound is nothing. It happens a lot to people and it's not a sign of anything bad really.

Just rest and don't do too much, also stretch and warm up before you do anything strenuous especially when it comes to your knees. They are a hard bunch to take care of.

That’s really good Sundis. Physiotherapy does provide relief from knee pain and strengthens muscles.
