    Hey guys,

as a fan of Babolat shuttlecocks, I received today a roll of Babolat 1 Speed 77. It's advertised as a high quality shuttlecock. The descriptions says: Grade 1 Taiwan Goose, 3-Layer Cork. All right, sounds great, says nothing to me.

Did anybody tried them? It seems that Babolat introduces a new line beside the Aeroflex. I was a fan of the Aeroflex Tour. Good flight characteristics, correct speed, excellent durability and a decent price when I compare them with the prices of Yonex shuttlecocks.

I paid the same price like for Aerosensa 20. Tbh I get a good discount for them.

    The description taken from babolat.com:

[h=4]An ultimate experience[/h] A top quality shuttlecock, offering, great accuracy, speed, and excellent durability for tournaments top level

    For Tournaments
    Cork: 3-layer cork
Feather quality: Grade 1, Taiwan goose feather
    Flight: A, speed and accuracy
    Durability: A, Excellent
    Speeds: 75,76, 77, 78, 79

I will try them tomorrow and can report more.

I am using these right now and I can tell they are indeed excellent. The durability is really good, on par with top shuttles like Victor Master Ace or Yonex AS40. The flight is also very good, not sure which type of cork it exactly has but the hitting is nice. It is definately a high-end shuttle. If you get them at AS20 price, definatly go for them.

I'm back. I tested them on yesterday. TBH the Aeroflex Tour are better. The flight characteristics are good, but the durability is not on par with the Aeroflex Tour or an AS40. I would rate it between AS20 and AS30. The Aeroflex Tour lasts around 20-30% longer and I get it at the same price.
Normally I need 8 AS20 for one session. Yesterday I needed 6 Shuttle 1. If I buy AS20 at my club I can get them at 12€ vs. 19€ for the Shuttle1. At the shop the price is equal. As far as I can get the shuttles at my club I use them. At a shop, I will only choose the Shuttle1 over the AS20, but if they have the Aeroflex Tour, which is the same price, I will always go for Aeroflex Tour.

If Aeroflex Tour is that good I am gonna try it, too! I have used Aeroflex Start and Pro so far and I wasn't impressed. Not sure if Babolat is going to replace the old product line by the new ones, but next time I will try Tour.
