Can anyone tell me if this website is a reputable dealer? They have good prices for Yonex rackets but I didn't want to risk getting a fake. Are they a legit Yonex authorised dealer? TIA
directbadminton is a sibling site to www.directsportseshop.co.uk. I've never bought a racket from them but I'm an regular customer for their badminton strings and the odd occasion of clothes and shoes (badminton of course!). Service and delivery is top notch and I've been using them for a few years now.
As with most online stores, their stringing is probably passable. Also consider: Amazon (weird prices occasionally) and if you feeling brave, Amazon Europe via Curiua. Sweatband (voucher and cashback (not guarenteed) via quidco, topcashback). Tennisnuts (£10 off £100 spend voucher). Centralsports (similar freebies, but you get free engraving too).
Thank you for your replies, my main concern was whether they may sell counterfeit Yonex rackets? I've previously only ever purchased from Central Sports as they are an authorised Yonex dealer, I know they wouldn't sell counterfeit goods.
Nevermind, I just used the Yonex website (http://www.yonex.co.uk/stockists/) to search for them and they are listed as an authorised Yonex seller.
In case anyone else is wondering... I ordered a Victor Brave Sword 12 (amazing racket btw) from there. I selected free delivery on Sunday at 5pm and it arrived it on Tuesday around 2pm! I got BG65 Ti at 22lbs and stringing is perfect. Box was beaten up though didn't look like it was well looked after. However, racket was well protected in it's own case inside the box and there's not a mark upon it. Really recommend them!
Have bought numerous rackets and products from them. Highly recommend Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Have recently bought a Nanoray 20 restrung with Nanogy 95 at 25 lbs from them just last week! Yes as mentioned above they are a sister site to direct soprts shop. Their service was on point and everything seems legit. Would recommend them. Although the racket/string doesn't really suit me, I find power to be quite lacking. It could totally be my technique as well but I am now looking to sell or trade this brand new racket!
