I've compared 3U TK9000, 4U TK9000 and 3U ZFII. ZFII is slightly better in every way, in my opinion.

In my opinion, yes. But the differences aren't big. Ultimately, it probably comes down to personal preference.

As I said, in my experience, ZFII is (slightly) better in every way. So it's ZFII.

    I borrowed a 3u VZFii and a 4U tk9000 and both were quite similiar.

For some reason a part of me wanted to try a 3U tk9000. And WOW. I think i will be selling the 4u TK9000 as i also have a 3U TK6000

I've not a proper session with the tk6000. it's been strung at 28lb which is too high for me so gonna have it re strung with gosen 9 at 25lb.

Probably give it a good session sunday

John I played for 1 1/2 hours with my newly strung tk6000. I have nothing but praise for this racket. now I may have also had one of those exceptional days when almost everything you do comes off but it perfromes brilliantly.

really wish I took my k9000 to but instead I took my 1st gen at700 to compare.

I love my tk9000 and now the tk6000 has been strung at a tension more suited to me its also brilliant. both the tk600 and tk9000 are strung to 25 lb.

Ive got a strong arm and didn't suffer from aches or tiredness in the arm and could have easily carried on playing.

it's fast, plays good at the net, drives really well and i defend easily enough. But if you are a big hitter who likes head heavy rackets, you will be very suprised with the smash when you hit the birdie in large sweet spot. it's power is where it excels for me. I am generally back court doubles player overpowering the opponent with a few drop shots to mix it up.

I know both are rated as mid flex but the reviews state the tk9000 is fractionally stiffer. you really won't go far wrong with either. the looks of the tk9000 are imho better but the tk6000 with yellow grip and yellow strings is also very nice.

both really are brilliant. 5* rackets

I vouch for the 3U tk-9000. Been using it as my main racket and a spare for half a year now strung with bg-66um at 26lbs, it doesn't disappoint in any manner. Coming from a Voltric Z Force 3U 1st gen it is basically a lighter, less stiff, and "better" version of it from Victor and I love it. I've borrowed a friend's ZF 2 3U and it is a a tad bit faster in swings but overall they are both very similar. I would get ZF 2 if you want a stiffer shaft and have really good technique as the racket's full potential will require good wrist technique whereas the tk-9000 is a lot more forgiving. Given that you have the technique both rackets are quite beastly, ZF 2 will take a session or two before adjusting the the timing of the smaller head but you can't go wrong with either. Smash wise I love the tk-9000, there's no comparison to the satisfaction every time I get the sweetspot hard on point. ZF 2 didn't give me as much of a wow factor, just my 2 cents :)

I've always wanted to try a TK-9000 in 4U, as I prefer a headheavy 4U racket but it's not available locally. TK-5000, fortunately is, and the local Victor representative who's trying to sell me one says it's very close to the TK-9000.

Tried a BS12L and I seem to generate more power due to it's less stiff(?) shaft but miss the headheaviness of my VT80.

Is the TK-9000 or TK-5000 a good combination of a head-heavy but less stiff racket?

    Thanks in advance.

I would get a 4U TK-6000 if possible. It is head heavy and medium stiff so you get best of both worlds. TK-9000 will get better control from the stiffer shaft but the price for the 6000 is hard to beat for its performance on par with the 9000. Only difference is the paint job and shaft stiffness. Don't know too much about the TK-5000 but the specs are similar to the 6000 but not sure about the performance. See if you can test the rackets and if not just get the 5000 as it seems like that will be the racket you're looking for :)
