Does anyone know what kind of shoes Johannson uses? I saw him using these crazy red ones and was just wondering what kind they were.

    thanks

I think those are the Hi-Tec Switchback shoes, Dinkalot has a pic of it in this thread somewhere.

I have one pair of SHB99MX and one pair of SHB99 Ltd. I find the limited edition is lighter.

td badminton i wear yonex shb 90 mx. theyre pretty kwl.lots of support but they take about 2 weeks to break in properly...before that your feet will feel odd wen ure playing.

i had to go many shoe sizes above my normal to find a shoe that fits....and if u have broad feet like me u may have difficulty finding a gd fitting shoe for badminton....but neway part from that theyre pretty kwl

    Thanks 6oclock.
I decided to go for the SHB 99mx, as the SHB 90 is a high top.
The SHB has a great fit and look and feels really light.
I am sure it needs about 2 weeks to properly break them it.

i use Adidas Stabil6: http://www.shopadidas.ca/vr4-web-sit...goryId=2277121 and Adidas ClimaCool Response Light:
    http://www.shopadidas.ca/vr4-web-sit...goryId=2277121

, the Stabil6 is a multi-indoor court shoe, use it for squash too, very very comfortable with lots of support, medium light, about 15 oz (size 10)

, the Climacool responce light is very very light, good suport with breathable sides and sole,
so i use stabil 6 for practices and climacool for tourneys

yes, the shb98 has been discontinued earlier this year, around janurary or february if i remember correctly.

i took the opportunity recently to get another pair of them while i still can, seeing how i didn't like the way the new yonex shoes look.

you should still be able to find them on a few online dealers, but with varying success in finding the size you may need.

I am so happy with my new purchased HSB-99MX. It works like magic and I am much faster just because of the shoes. Would recommend to anyone. Two cons though: first, it is a little expensive second, the shoe is relativly thin not working well for wide feet.

i am now using shb90MX and find tat they are quite durable compared to my shb99LE's. i was expieriencing a problem with the arch of my foot when i first got them but i realised that was from the insole i had put into the shoe, what was happening was the insole was sliding around when i was lunging... guess i better glue it but i don't want to mess it up and ruin the shoes.

the physio told me that al my foot was sort of tight so hegave me massages that i had to do, basically rubbing and pressing on the tender areas. but the problem has sorted itself out now that i took the insole out that i had put in origionally
