That's exactly what happened to my shoe... the gray rubber is so soft... and the white material below that grey rubber... too. U should get a bigger size, no? My toes don't bleed, though.

    Dear all...

I am using Yonex AR 85...white with red strip... this shoe is quite cheap compared to the others up-to-date yonex shoes...

there's a part of this shoe that is used to tighten the ties...so the ties never loosen, so it makes your foot comfotable to move...and if the ties loosen you just tighten the "ties tighter".....

    hhahahahah....you are right...

what i want to say is..there is an addition part of this shoe..which will save your time to tighten the ties if you feel ur shoes not comfortable anymore...just pull it out and wrap it again...so easy..

    i don't have the pix...sorry...

This is also partly true with the asics last holes... if you tie your laces like i have described, the tightening should go easy.

Is this a real badminton shoe or a general indoor one? And how much did it cost you? Thanks.

How do you compare to other badminton shoes that you previously had ? How about Price wise ?

Thanks bajaiman. I think I might try them on at Rebel Sport. Real badminton shoes are really hard to come by in Australia as you probably know. Surely, there has to be some demand for these type of shoes and there must be a speciality retailer that I don't know of.

The only pair I could find at a racquet place today was the rather strange looking Yonex SHB-68 for AU$89. I was not sure whether the upper was leather, but it looked anything but durable so I didn't buy them (I have to tendency to put holes in my shoes like those discussed in the other threads on this forum).

If anyone knows of a good retailer in Australia, please let me know.

    Wink

You can always order them online.

But you must know what you are doing (e.g. shoe sizing).

Yeah real badminton shoes apart from Yonex are a pain to find.

$89 for Yonex SHB-98 is quite a good price... btw I've got a brand new pair of Mizuno wave smash 2 (size 27/US 9 I think), if you're interested and the size fits you then feel free to PM me.

What about the durability of the front part of this shoe?
