looks like MAS out of budgets, have to save some money by withdraw several players... left only the independent players behind to play...
BAM probably wants their players to have some rest after WC. I don't think accommodation and flight tickets from MAS to HCM is too expensive for them.
Both HCMC and Saigon are often referred to the same location. One is new and one is old name, and Saigon often referred to the downtown area. Technically, the area of Saigon is smaller than HCMC . And for travelers, it maybe tricky as the flight states the destination as Saigon, I don't know why they keep it that way. Some of my foreign friends ask whether it's correct, and it is.
Looking forward to the exciting match. Hope all the players will play to their level best. Just can't wait to see Lee Hyun Il win the gold medals again in this coming tournament.
This looks like a redemption tournament for Tommy... I can't see Nguyen or Lee HI winning this one. Doesn't look good for the Malaysian boys either... they're not the quality players they used to be... new faces have the capability to end the journey for any one of them along the way, in the early rounds. Liew Daren and Chong Wei Feng in direct line of Nguyen's fire. Top seeds from China should win the MD too easily. If Lindaweni can get past the Thai girls, the title it hers given her current form.
4+3 Indians in MS... 2+0 in WS.... 2+0 pairs in MD...... 3+0 pairs in WD...... (brava improvement.... thanks BAI) 4+1 pairs in XD...... Best of luck to all.... Just win it.
Barring any upsets he should take the title here but never discount Nguyen TM or Lee HI as these two veterans are still pretty good at their age. After being flopped at just concluded world meet, Sugiarto is predicted to seal this one.
