First at attempt at re gripping as most people will know from my lack of knowledge in my recent thread. I don't think it went that bad myself. Found it a bit tricky getting the last step right where you cut the grip at the top of the handle but the karakal black tape covers up my slight error. What do you guys and gals think?
Not too bad at all. It's not the kind of grip or length that I would have done, but that's just personal preference. Good job. Probably could have just posted it in this thread though ... http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...cs-of-how-your-rackets-are-gripped-!!!/page15
Aww yeah I didn't see this post racketman123 lol. Never mind. Yeah I'm happy with it. Played with it this morning and seemed comfortable. I enjoyed using it.
Not bad at all. Nice job on your first re-grip. Make sure to experiment with how much you overlap your grip, its perfectly fine to trim the excess from cone if you don't want to wrap it too high up the shaft like some players do.
Go to some of the posts in the thread racketman suggested. If you play doubles, you'll want to grip up the cone for better control during serves and at forecourt.
Agreed. That's a very nice grip. I like the look of fresh white grips, but it doesn't last very long. I've only recently started to use towel grip and I find the my RKEP ones are a bit thick, but they do the job. I've got my VT-70ET gripped to about the same length but with yellow towel instead.
