Does anyone know whether or not there is a difference in string quality (texture, brittleness, stiffness) if they are from different regions? Was wondering if strings would become more brittle/rough/dry after being shipped overseas (e.g Taiwan to Canada). To the touch, the sets of Zymax 66FIRE seem a bit more rough in texture when I order them from RKEP's Eric compared to the sets that I receive from Ashaway USA..

Secondly, when I string with ZM66FIRE, the strings seem to get very dry and rough after about a week or so. I tend to sweat a fair amount from my palms while stringing, does this have anything to do with removing the coating on the strings, and is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
