Dear all,
Need racket recommendation please. Just started playing again after couple of years, not updated with current equipments.
I remember I liked head heavy, stiff/extra stiff, attacking racket. I play doubles only, like to play at the back, controlling rally. The last racket that I owned and enjoyed was APACS Lethal 70, unfortunately broken due to clashing. Before that, owned Yonex Armortec 800 Offensive (the orange one), also broken, twice.
Would appreciate recommendation for high end or top of the line for consideration, a middle end (most probably will buy this), and low end if any since as I mentioned prone to clashing during doubles.
Thanks before!

Voltric Z-Force II is head-heavy and extra stiff. You could also give the Voltric 80 E-Tune a go.

Agree with the comment above, the ZF II is a great all around, head heavy racket. Highly recommended for those who have experience in playing (intermediate and so on).

You can also look at the Voltric 70. It is on sale on most Juego shops in Metro Manila. A high end racket that is on 40% discount, would be priced around the midrange level. Good luck!

Any suggestions besides Yonex?
Is there any <$100?

visor I browsed that there are new models of Lethal. How are they compared to L70?
Are there other new APACS options with similar characteristics?

Hai all,
A follow-up to this thread.

I been reading and interested in Babolat X-Feel Blast and Forza Titanium 11000 VS. Can anyone compare this to my previous Apacs Lethal 70?

Any recommended Adidas rackets?

Thanks JoJee and nilavu! But I'm thinking of going against the stream :) At least not the big three: Yonex, Victor, Li-ning. Would appreciate other brand suggestions.

Then u can try apacs lethal 110. It has the specs..but some rackets in apacs that are catalogued as stiff are not really stiff. U can try and find out.

Or the tantrum 300. Which is even balanced..but leaning towards the head it seems.

nilavu Yes, I am considering Lethal 110. Although it might not be as stiff as L70.
I've tried a friend's Tantrum 300 before, and doesn't suit me well.

If you want something stiff and head heavy you can try the Carlton Vapour Trail Elite.
