FCC Certification Process for Electronic Equipment

Something totally unrelated to badminton, but has any BF'ers ever gone through the process or experience with getting FCC approval and certification for their business or work? I'm in the process of looking at getting some of our equipment marketed in the US, and have been informed that needs to get FCC approval. Just wondering any help would be more than appreciated.

Not sure though, remember Stanley in DL? The guy I think was trying something here in Canada - high-speed modems? He may know something.
