When looking for groups to play with. I stumbled upon these terms…
    - High Beginners
    - Low Intermediate
    - Mid Intermediate
    - Intermediate
    - High Intermediate
Can you guys help specify the differences in these levels? Im curious to know myself what level I am at.

And when does one become advanced?

    Have a good day!

    Some people never reached advanced.

In Malaysia, near state level can be considered advanced.

wow  theres so many intermediate levels. are those standard for all the groups in your area? best to ask someone in person and say can you point to someone playing right now who is intermediate and then high intermediate then you can compare the difference between them.

here's a good explanation of player level in one of the clubs i play with and i would say it's accurate to all the other groups i join. if someone says that a person is B grade or just about advanced, you both have a good understanding of that person's level.

Yup, some groups actually stating low to mid intermediate, mid to high intermediate. You wonder right.

Thanks quagmire and Cheung for the input.
