Sorry to be off topic... I did that before. Much more than 3 hrs per day back then.

confuzzle, how old r u/??? i recently became hook in badminton and i play like everyday in my school gym (steveston) when theres no nets.. LOL... just hardcore want to play badly... and i play every friday drop in 3:30-5:45 at steveston community centre but only chinese teens (like me) go there, oh and i take lessons at clearone, but 1 on 1 private lessons, the times are rearranged randomly (my coach is kyle) clearone is a good place, but renting courts there are expensive , i'd prefer a community centre, cheaper, but if u want pro ground then go clearone.
and btw did i mention im only average (well i can return most shots and i smash and all tat as well... i dont play other ppl that often, only my frds, i dont know how to compare, but if i played with other ppl i usually end up beating or being quite even with them), well im like okay, but then i use panhandle grip, im trying to change it back to normal grip, kinda hard (cant hit with a flat surface ARGH!)Last edited by kaitamasaki; 06-07-2004 at 05:40 PM.

I'll be in Richmond over the long weekend coming up. Just want to know where i can go play and if someone available to play against.
Not very good here, so take it easy on me, i play with yellow plastic shuttle.
I'll be staying at the Radisson hotel, so i can get to have all the chinese food i saw the last time i was there..didn't get to try it out.
Being in Calgary, some of the stuff they have there, can't be found here.
But if someone are interested or playing on Friday, i'll bring my racquet and all to play...like to see what's the facility there is like.
I do have membership to YMCA too if there is playing time there.
I find here, YMCA downtown, don't have much respect for the game.
Hope to hear from someone,
thanks
Don

Ugh! I think C1 is more expensive than community centers for 2-3hour windows. Lots of elite players train there and sometimes, people there don't play with newcomers unless they know them or at least seen them play before. Also they often reserve the best courts for their lessons, drop-ins get the crubs... sometimes
.

Do you play there?
I think Crappy might be correct, since i am just there for the weekend,
thought i try what's it like to play else where than in Calgary.
If you're open, any of you want to play on Friday afternoon or evening?
Don
