I tried it with 50-140mm in the Malaysia open 2015. Rather frustrating. Went back to my D3S 70-200mm almost immediately.
I don't think any M4/3 can beat DSLR in terms of focus speed and continuous shooting. They are for traveling and when you are so tired of carrying 5kg of equipment with you.
jctai What do you think of the camera other than badminton? Have you used it in low light performance photography? E.g. Shows and acts on stage?
Hi Cheung. Yes, I own one for business purpose. I own fujinon 14mm, 23mm and 56mm. They're all marvelous lenses. 50-140mm I borrowed from a friend to test out its abilities. Its low light capability is really good. No discoloration, just slight softness at 1600 ISO. At 3200 the image does suffer from softness, but nothing too dramatic with 16MP. Focusing speed improved tremendously after the ver4.00 firmware update. Making low light event workable. Focus lock on works more swiftly. Turning on 'high performance' mode and using the 9 phase detection focusing points are important in events. Contrast detection points are no-no when you need the speed.
Sounds great...too good. I have a Panasonic GX1 - it's good for holidays but the files are a bit bland when above ISO800. It's good for video clips.
Yea. Panasonic has always been great at making their camera's video capturing. But from still photography perspective they're a bit tame.
