I think Yonex AT800 just arrived Taiwan :)

A Taiwan Yonex store owner has told me it's about $120 USD, about the same price as Ti10, MP100, and 99.

Just a reference for people who are going to Taiwan .... :)

Wow, bluejeff you are so good to get these informations....... :D . I think only that store have AT-800, not every store. I will go back to Tainan, and I will check offical retailer at my home town with AT-800. The price in this store is cheaper..... :) Ti 10~NT 3300, AT-700~NT3500
    MP100~NT 3500, MP99~NT3300 including string.... :D

It might take some extra days to have Yonex to distribute racquets to all stores in Taiwan. However, so far I know some Taipei and Taichung stores already got them. So, be patient if you don't see them in the store today; they will arrive in no time.

whats the conversion of "nt" to "us"

e.g 3300 for the Ti-10, about how much is that in $us or $canadian

Thank you and sorry if it seems offtopic cause i think we need a conversion sticky so that people won't be asking for conversions just like how I am :p

He already said it's in TaiNan, not Taipei.
Taipei stores will not give you that price because of the higher cost of everything.
(You won't get decent prices unless you have inner-connections like I do ;))

Actually, I can get good price on yy stuffs from personal channel in Taipei. They are members of my club. Since you don't live in Taiwan, I think it is not convenient for you to buying the stuffs from them. Like the post from bluejeff, Taipei stores will not give you that price because of the higher cost of everything. For other informations, the mp-100 in my home town will be NT 3300 without string. If you buy a lot of MP-100 at once, you can get NT 3100 for each one. So I think the price for each racket from Yonex to the owner of the sport store should be under NT 3000..... :D

I don't have a lot of experiences shopping in Taipei. I bought my yy rackets in my home town or from my personal channels. Sorry, I can't give you any recommendation!

This website www.mattshop.com.tw serves as a very good price guide (Thanks to huijun who provided me with this address).

Or you could review these threads for shop locations in Taipei:

    ak6210,

    Yeah I did. http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=15460

For your reference, the Taipei dealers quoted to me ~NTD4000 (approx SGD210 or USD123) for the Ti-10 3U (which is rare in Singapore) and the AT700, inclusive of any Yonex string. Prices vary slightly from shop to shop. (PM me if you need directions and I will try to assist) Would reckon that only regular customers eg. bluejeff would be offered lower prices.

According to bluejeff, a AT800 will cost USD120 in Taiwan. In comparison, a SP version will cost ~S$400 (or USD235) in Singapore

Guess it's time to make another trip to TAIWAN :)

    AT800 at US$ 120? That's about RM 456 in Malaysia and gosh, it's CHEAP!
I must visit Taipei one of these days!
