mrs badrad and i will be in Kelowna Friday - June 4 and was wondering if there was anyone wanting to play a few games with this old couple. I am there for Kelowna's environment expo in the park, and hopefully we can get a chance to play some badminton while in town. Any interests, please PM me!

Is your shoulder fit for play again, badrad?

    thanks for asking, Traum.
it's a lot better finally. it gets a bit tired (but no pain) from playing but likely that's just from lack of continual playing. had a fun game against cappy78 and mrs. badrad against myself and speed98 last Saturday. that was the first playing since a month ago.

the shoulder held together okay, although i was hesitant to do many attacking shots.

Wow! Really? If that's your defensive game, I don't wanna play with you when your attacking game's on:D! I was really pushed to my limits... drenched in sweat, and it's just my first game of the night:rolleyes:. Good thing Mrs. Badrad was there to carry most of the load:D! I probably won't be able to walk if she weren't my partner:p.

You did pretty well considering your injury. Hope you will get better. Are you slowly doing more intensive weight lifting to strengthen the affected area?

I'm back to my weight training, and weekly physio visits as well. The physio helps a lot, and have alleviated the main problem. For now it's just not wanting to play full out until I am confident that I don't re-injure the shoulder.
