    Dear Members

I have been told that there is a limited edition Yonex tracksuit for sale this season. It is black but other than this I have no information about it. :(

The problem is that none of the retailers in the UK are stocking it and it is quite pricey (compared to the price of their other tracksuits). :(

Can anyone scan and post a picture if it appears in their regional Yonex catalogue? Mainly looking for help from anyone that can get their hands on the full Yonex Japanese catalogue, it seems the best bet.

    Thanks.

I have a copy of the japanese 2004 full Yonex badminton, tennis, & soft tennis catalog, but there are no limited edition racquets or track suits listed in it. However there is no Armortec 800, or even the 500 shown in it either, so I guess certain products are left out, or they release different versions of the catalog as the year progresses.

    Tell me you're joking

A tracksuit is a warm up suit, you wear it on top of your shorts + t-shirts to keep you warm in between matches. The only other way to describe it is a matching lightweight jacket and trouser set.

when i first came to the US from the UK, i was going around stores looking for "tracksuit bottoms" with a British accent. needless to say, i got quite a few strange stares....

It's called a track suit because athletes use them as warm up suits and then take them off to compete and put them back on to keep warm in between events.

Probably "slang" because they were track athletes.

Anyway anyone know anything about the black one Yonex are reportedly releasing in limited numbers?

It's called "warm-up jacket/pants" as the names in most of the retail stores in the US :)

I guess UK and US English have really big difference.
(Such as Football in the US means the super crazy sports, where Football in europe means something like soccer.)

i have a Yonex JP clothing catalog in my hand. there are couple of black warm-up suits. however, none of them seems to say "limited edition".

and also, AFAIK, some items only stay for one season. does that count as limited edition?

an exception seems to be the Armortec LE that is now being sold in SP. that can be called limited edition.

it is best to verify it with your source.

No sooner had I posted that I checked Central Sports and they had added it to their line up last night.

    Heat Capsule Team Suit

The ‘Heat Capsule’ tracksuit converts absorbed IR rays emmited by the sun and body into valuable heat. This increases the temperature within the clothing by 3-8c. You can feel the increase in temperature immediately after you wear the tracksuit.
Possibly the most technically advanced Track Suit in the World

Kwun can you have a look in the catalogue and scan a picture of this or add any info if there is any? It seems the tracksuit or "Heat Capsule Team Suit" is black with white piping down the sleeves and legs. I now think you are right in it not being limited but my supplier is still sticking with that story, I would think it is now a variant of a normal warm up suit with their newer technology to go along with those "very cool" tops which they have doubled the price of in the UK.
