    Short form of wellington boots.

The rubber things you wear when it is wet/muddy. Mainly in rural areas (farms). Or for fishing (waders).

Good example, but would be better if you had the bright greens ones, with frogs' eyes on the end. They were cool! :D :D

Oh and I agree with Gollum, dont use them for badminton (unless you play in a swamp!) :D :D :D :D

My advice is to save the money until you can buy something more badminton-specific. Something that fits your feet well and has the right support for your ankles and heels. Find a good pair of shoes is very important... in fact, more important than finding the right racquet, just not as fun:p.

    whoa...
very flashy boots you've got :p

well seriously, if you want badminton shoes at very good price...look for some discontinued and limited sizes shoes or even go to "zhen tsen, china" (i dunno how to spell the city) to try your luck.

By the way, wellies are also the best footwear for caving. The best handwear is "marigold" washing-up gloves.

Also, your wellies double up as a a pillow on underground camping :D
