Hi everyone, I am looking for a badminton partner in Orange County, CA-USA to play for fun and improve. I haven't played for three years, because I don't have anyone to play with or against. I love badminton and I consider myself as an intermediated player. Please anyone...thanks Lil' D
I am looking for a partner tooooooooooooooo~ I live in Sunnyvale... Usually go to Bintang....... But I can go anywhere that you go if it's not too far from Sunnyvale.
If you own a Gulf-Stream G450, it might take just 1 hour from Sunnyvale from Orange County. Really not that far.
I really appreciate it. Thanks, but I think we are too far apart. I live in Westminster which is about I think six hours away from Cunnyvale...
Play in OCBC Hi Lil'D, I play quite regularly in OCBC; if you want you can come to OCBC and have some fun playing in a nice, , clean, worldclass badminton facility. I am usually there from 5 - 8 pm sometimes even up to 10 pm. See ya there tonite if you can
Hi there, I know that place OCBC. It is quite expensive though to play there. $18/person. I can't afford that on a regular basis. But who knows, I will stop by sometime. I let you know. Thank you.
Have you check out www.usabadminton.org and click on the "Where to Play" section to see what's listed for OC?
If you're interested, come on over to the Irvine Badminton Club on Saturdays 6-9pm (cost $8). There are many intermediate players. Woodrew
Thanks for the info. I have already checked that website. Just need someone to play with. QUOTE=Winex West Can]Have you check out www.usabadminton.org and click on the "Where to Play" section to see what's listed for OC?
Lil'D I'll help with some introductions when you get there. The person in charge is Joeseph Lin. He is usually training someone from 5-6:30pm in the court nearest where you sign up. Just ask Joe to find me. See ya. Woodrew
Badminton Club in Telstar-El Monte Lil'D There is a badminton club in El Monte, CA. It is on Telstar. It is a very nice club. I play there regularly. If you are interested, please post message to me.
I didn't went to highschool here in the US. I attended H.S. in Germany and came seven years ago to the US.
Badminton Hey there I am also looking for a partner to play in OC and in my opinion San Gabriel Valley Club is the best place to play IN OC. I do not go there but i am willing to join if i find a partner to play. i am free on evening and on the weekend. Please email me @ Abhishek1981@gmail.com if you are interested or anybody else interested in playing. Thanks Ash
SGVBC is not in Orange County, but LA county... Anyway, for $7 drop-in fee, it is hard to find a better place than this since it opens the door 24-7. My two cents about the facility really in OC are OCBC is darn expensive ($20 drop-in) and IBC can only has 3 hours for each session. -SC
What i meant was around OC, sorry for the confusion. Anyways, SGVBC has an excellent monthly membership program. Ash
Play at Cerritos H.S. Another place to play is at Cerritos H.S. Opens Tuesday 6-9pm full gym. Thursday 6-9pm half gym. Saturdays 9-1pm full gym, pending availability. Sundays 5-9pm full gym. Cerritos community services runs the gym and suppose to check ID. (only open to Cerritos Residents only), but they never check ID since I've been playing there. If they checked ID, the gym would be half empty. If they do ask you for ID, cuz you're a new face in the gym, just say that your here with Paul. They know me at the gym. Beginner to intermediate level players to play against. If you get bored of the intermediate players, I can play against you. Just ask for Coach Paul. Cerritos H.S. is located at 183rd street and Bloomfield Avenue. If you need more info, email me paul@Meritekusa.com
Play at Cerritos H.S. is Free. Oh, I forgot to say, it's free to play at Cerritos H.S. Also, since your in Westminster, I heard Westminster H.S. has their gym open on Saturdays from 10-5pm, not sure if open to public. You may go and ask Coach Dagget (I think) and see if you can play there. I don't think he will mind more interested Badminton players to play against his team. It's free too, but lots of H.S. students. Don't know what is your level...
