Hey all, i have created a new badminton gallery site call www.badmintonalbum.com ! in the old days of badmintoncentral, we had a small image gallery that we used to show pictures of players and rackets. in the old days, we have little bandwidth and the gallery took out so much we had to turn it off. things have changed and bandwidth is more readily avaible so i built a new gallery site from scratch, thus we now have badmintonsalon.com currently there are few pictures inside, i have spent some time uploading some pictures but there are still quite a bit to be done. i hope the site will be filled up as time goes on. there are many many other pictures in various thread in BF that we can upload to the new site. how you can help: you can help upload pictures into badmintonalbum.com and reduce the burden of moderators. if you run into a new picture, or if you have taken new badminton pictures, feel free to upload them into the upload area using the "Upload picture" link in BS.com . you can log into BS.com using the "Login" link. the username and password is same as your BF username and password. if you have lots of pictures saved up in your computer and want to share them with others, let me know via PM, there is a way to do bulk uploading that will save you time. meanwhile, enjoy the pictures!
you're welcomed! most of the pics i uploaded are pretty old ones. if you have more recent ones, feel free to upload more!

Excellent Kwun! Thanks for the addition. I wonder if it's possible to add one-line captions to the photos, much like Shabok did on "nobrakes." A title or description adds volumes to pictures. -dave

anyone care to try out the Upload feature? i have tried it out on my account, but i am not sure how well it works for others. just click the "Upload picture" link at the top and upload some badminton pictures. i am also looking for volunteers to scan through the BF threads and dig out pictures, let me know if you are interested in helping out!
oh, and special mention to the Articles > Historical > Bbn files album. these are pictures from the 80's that Bbn sent me a long time ago. some are very interesting reads esp the articles about old time players as well as the original cab20 leaflet from 1984!
Great job kwun! A question.. about the user gallery.. do we have our own galery? How does that galery works?
try it again. there should be a way to switch to Admin Mode and then you will see 3 buttons that allows you to create a personal album and upload pictures there. only badminton related pictures are allowed. all others will be deleted.

thanks guys. i uploaded some pics of Xia/Gong and a few old players. there are a lot of pictures that are lost in the threads. i hope this site will be a good place to store them so they won't get lost.
