I started when I was in grade 10 and I guess my skill is like average compared to other people haha~~~ I go to UBC and I actually found this forum while I was shopping for a new racquet... if you DO go to UBC... watch out for your racquets... I lost my precious Golden CAB23 there a few months back and have been out of action since then ... but I finally saved up enough $$$ and ordered in a Cab20MS and should be arriving on monday!!! Muhahahaha...

I'll see how VRC goes! most of my friends joined and it's like $500/year... and I've never had a problem with thieves either... until that ONE time.... yeah... $$$ down the drain!!! I might drop in to vrc for those $10/time type thing sometime!
crimes at VRC A former member of VRC has lost his bags (including his wallet and a laptop computer) at VRC . One should be careful with his/her belongings there.

Hello Justin, welcome to BF! I usually take out my wallet and just keep enough cash in my racquet bag for drinks/meal after badminton when I go play at VRC. It's a real hassle if you lose your wallet with all your ID's in it!!
Danny, Thanks for you reminder,and Kitty really brings up a good idea,no IDs within the wallet.Money is less important,actually I don't have too much money poor guy!!!I will be careful playing at VRC in the future.
ouch!!! I guess it's just a general rule for anywhere you go!!! don't leave your stuff unattended!!! people @ the ubc libraries always leave their laptops and backpacks @ their study area when they go to the washroom... I'm like ... haha but I feel sorry for that guy!!! @ least mine was only a year old racquet... he got his racquet stolen plus like so much more!~~ ouch!
