Thread: Where do you string?

My coach strings by hand, so he strings for those who ask. $20 CAN a pop, $10 if you bring him string, $3 for repairs.
Because he strings by hand, he's able to get a much higher tension, as well as more balanced tension.

OK, now this is a completely untrue statement. You cannot string by hand and get a higher and more balanced tension. My stringing machine can string to 102lbs., you're telling me a person can do that accurately by hand at a much higher tension and be more balanced, unpossible!

Could your string a badminton raquet at 102lbs without breaking it?? Sure, your stringing machine can string up to 102lbs, but you would never do it.

I've never had a strong-job done by machine as well-done as my coach.

LOL! OK, you win. Your coach does the best strong-job.

Well, while we're picking out typos, I may as well point out that nothing is as unpossible as it seems.

Unpossible is a word in the internet kingdom. It's a joke, I'm being facetious.

A coach who can't afford a machine can't be a very good coach. Is he a trainee coach ? I suggest you change to a more expensive coach as soon as possible.

Did you take your racquet to your governor Arnold Schwarzenegger? I bet he can string it to 150lb without any problem. Give it to him and he will say "I'll be back."

It's not that he can't afford a machine; he doesn't need one. Why would I change coaches when mine is one of the best in Canada??

Who's your coach? Is he Ardy?

Wang Wen at the Royal Glenora. I haven't heard many good things about Ardy's coaching.

Currently use an old gentleman not far from me who has been stringing racquets since they where made out of wood. Previously have posted my racquets away to have them restrung as my two local sports shops have done shoddy work in the past.
